HYP will be hosting a community book discussion on Monday, November 7th at 8:30pm at Our Brewing Company on 8th Street in downtown Holland!
This book discussion will be held after the La Belle Vie film screening at the Knickerbocker Theatre, located right near Our Brewing Company.
Grab a drink and join us and other community members in discussing Brother I’m Dying, Haitian culture, and craft beers.

Film Screening and Q & A with Filmmaker and Cinematographer

La Belle Vie: The Good Life is a story about Haitian-American filmmaker Rachelle Salnave’s journey to discover her Haitian roots by examining the complexities of the overall political and economic dichotomy in Haiti. After the film, Rachelle Salnave (director and producer) and Jean H. Marcelin (director of photography) will answer questions and discuss the film.
