Love to end your week on a high note? Then consider a fun, fast-paced opportunity to serve at the Community Action House Food Distribution Day on Friday, Oct. 25.

We’re looking for 10 HYP volunteers to ensure local families receive the food they so desperately need. You will stand or sit behind tables, talking to families and assisting them with their bags of food. In other words, you will reduce chaos and provide even more impact in the process.

The event takes place at 345 W. 14th St. in Holland. Volunteer orientation starts at 1:30 p.m. and food distribution occurs from 2 - 4 p.m. Please stay until 4:15 p.m. to debrief and, if willing, share about your experiences during the day. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because you will be moving throughout the afternoon.
